If there is one thing that will make me part with my money it is '80s slashers. I have committed to collecting everyone of them, no matter the cost, or endurance, with some of the lesser titles. 2017 is looking to be a banner year for the sub-genre, with 88 Films in the UK already lining up a number of titles. Next on their release schedule is the bizarre slasher, 'Return to Horror High', it kind of plays like 'Student Bodies', or 'Wacko', but without the comedy. I tried to watch it a few years ago, but ended up falling asleep, twice. Still, any title in HD is welcome as I have been reevaluating a number of films since their HD debuts. Also coming from 88 is 'Just Before Dawn', some time later in the year, having previously been released by Code Red in the US. I might actually pick up this new edition, if they can top the Code Red transfer. Either way this could be the best year yet for completists like myself.

He intends to make a horror film based on these bizarre incidents, and for authenticity he hires on several of the school s former employees as actors. His leading man s sudden and mysterious disappearance sets the stage for a rash of strange events that make it hard to determine who s playing dead for the camera and who s not!
